Your Maritime Modern Quilt Guild

We would like to acknowledge that the guild operates in Mi'kma'ki, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi'kmaq people, who have cared for and lived on this land for thousands of years.

Additionally, Black Nova Scotians, and people of African descent have given strong influence to craft and textile arts along with many other gifts to the region, for more than 400 years. For this we are grateful.

We are a Nova Scotia chapter of The Modern Quilt Guild, based physically out of Halifax, Nova Scotia, although members span many regions of the Maritimes.

We are part of the Modern Quilt Guild that encompasses over 100 modern quilt guilds in Canada, the United States, and many other countries around the world.

MEMBERSHIP

Our membership is open to anyone interested in modern quilting and all that goes along with it.

Member benefits include the following:

• free monthly guild meetings
• free monthly Sew-Ins
• membership in The Modern Quilt Guild (this comes with an additional list of benefits including discounts on MQG events, access to the MQG online community, and opportunities to participate in MQG swaps and challenges, free webinars, and a free quilt-of-the-month pattern!)
• priority registration in MMQG workshops, retreats, and sew-ins
• voting rights

2024 Membership Fee: $60

Memberships run from January to December each year.
